Applications for Christmas Baskets are now available at the church. Forms are to be returned NO LATER than WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 11th during produce distribution. Baskets will be handed out on December 15th and 16th according to the posted schedule. Only those who have applied will be able to receive baskets. If you have any questions, please contact the church office or any Living Bread Kitchen volunteer.
The final BFC Women's Group for 2026 will meet on SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 14th at 10:30 a.m. Pre-register for this fun holiday event and take home a handmade Christmas bracelet! For more information, watch our Facebook page, contact Elly Hoepfner, or the church office.

Be sure to fill out a Connect Card in the pews and let us know the best way to connect with you about finding YOUR place in our ministries!
If you have any prayer requests that you would like Pastor Joe, our prayer team, or our congregation to pray for, please jot them down on a "Prayer Request" form available in the back of the sanctuary, and we will pray for any concerns. We also have a prayer team available every Sunday after worship in the front of the sanctuary for anyone who would like their needs prayed for at that time.
We are collecting new or gently used hats, scarves, and gloves to distribute during the winter months. Monetary donations will also be accepted to go toward purchasing these items. Please drop off any donations to Debbie Weeks or the church office.
If you want to make a "joyful noise" to the Lord, we invite you to Chancel Choir practice every SUNDAY at 9:30 a.m. before worship.
There is a need for volunteers to be Offering Counters on Sunday mornings. If interested, please see Steve Shallcross.
If anyone is interested and available to help with Monday Meals served by the Living Bread Kitchen and Food Pantry each MONDAY, or with the Food Pantry delivery trucks on TUESDAY mornings, please contact Jim Brehm or the church office. All volunteers are welcome.
We are always in need of toiletry items for those we are serving in the community. Items such as shampoo, conditioner, soap, shaving cream, razors, deodorant, toothbrushes, toothpaste, and any other personal care items would be very appreciated. All sizes are needed. Please contact the church office for more information.
Community Events
There will be a Community Prayer Service on TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 3rd beginning at 7:00 p.m. at Bellaire First Methodist Church. EVERYONE is welcome to bring your concerns and prayer requests as we lift our needs in prayer and celebrate our praises. Hope to see you there!
On SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 29th, we will hold our annual Advent Walk to celebrate the Christmas season. Many local churches will be taking part. Additional information will be provided at a later date.
