The Scouts will be holding a fall yard sale on FRIDAY, OCTOBER 11th through SUNDAY, OCTOBER 13th at the "Purple House" on 214. MANY ITEMS AVAILABLE at bargain prices. For more information, please contact Dan Lofton.

GriefShare meetings are held each MONDAY at 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Bellaire First Methodist Church. (The group will not meet on Labor Day, September 2nd.) If you are interested in being a part of the Grief Share group, please contact Myra Thornton for more information. These meetings are OPEN TO ANYONE who is struggling with the loss of a loved one or know someone who is.

The Bellaire First Methodist Church will be hosting Chick Church on FRIDAY, DECEMBER 6th. For more information on this or any other local Chick Church gatherings, please contact Holly Poe.

Please join us this coming SUNDAY, OCTOBER 13th for our last worship service with Pastor Phil. He is leaving to serve at a new church, so we hope everyone can attend to wish him well in his new ministries. (We'll miss you, Pastor Phil!)

We will be taking up a special offering for those affected by Hurricane Helene this coming SUNDAY, OCTOBER 13th. All monies collected will be donated to Samaritan's Purse to help with their work to minister in those areas.

The final meeting of Pastor Phil's Bible study, "The Heroes Of The Bible", will be on WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 16th at 6:30 p.m. You can attend in person at the church or online in our Bible Study group.

We are looking for volunteers to run the slides on the computer during Sunday service. If interested, please see Chad McLeish.

If anyone is interested and available to help with Monday Meals served by the Living Bread Kitchen and Food Pantry each MONDAY around 4:30 p.m., please contact Nancy Hughes or the church office. All volunteers are welcome. In addition, we are always in need of volunteers to help with transporting the food bank deliveries to the church every TUESDAY morning at 8:00 a.m. If you are able to help carry or have a truck that could be used to move the food, your assistance would be very appreciated. If you are able to help, please contact Jim Brehm or arrive at the church by 8:00 a.m.

**Please note: no food will be distributed on Tuesday mornings.**

As we approach fall, we are continuing to collect new or gently used hats, scarves, and gloves to distribute to those who are in need during colder weather. Please drop off any donations at the church or contact Debbie Weeks or the church office for more information.

We are always in need of toiletry items for those we are serving in the community. Items such as shampoo, conditioner, soap, shaving cream, razors, deodorant, toothbrushes, toothpaste, and any other personal care items would be very appreciated. All sizes are needed. Please contact the church office for more information.
