Community Events

GriefShare meetings are currently being held at Bellaire First Methodist Church from now until TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 11th. These meetings are open to anyone who needs guidance in getting through the grief of loss. If you are interested in taking part or being a facilitator, please contact Myra Thornton at 740-310-9681.

Beginning MONDAY, NOVEMBER 3rd, Chad McLeish will be leading a new 16-week Bible study on Discipleship Evangelism based on a study from Andrew Wommack Ministries. This Bible study will be held at the church on Mondays from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.  There is no cost, and study materials can be downloaded from: https://cdn.awmi.net/documents/demo/discipleship-evangelism-english.pdf  For more information, please see our Bible Study page or contact Chad McLeish.

Mark your calendars - we will be decorating our church for Christmas on SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 23rd immediately after worship, and we are in need of volunteers to stay and help.

We need volunteers to be Offering Counters on Sunday mornings. If interested, please see Steve Shallcross.

Anyone who is interested in being a part of the Chancel Choir is welcome to join us each SUNDAY morning before worship at 9:45 a.m. for choir practice. There is room for everyone, and ALL voices are welcome! Come and make a joyful noise to the Lord!

If anyone is interested and available to help with Monday Meals served by the Living Bread Kitchen and Food Pantry each MONDAY around 4:30 p.m., please contact Nancy Hughes or the church office. All volunteers are welcome.

We are continuing to collect new or gently used hats, scarves, and gloves to distribute to those who are in need during the winter months. Please drop off any donations at the church or contact Debbie Weeks or the church office for more information.

We are always in need of toiletry items for those we are serving in the community. Items such as shampoo, conditioner, soap, shaving cream, razors, deodorant, toothbrushes, toothpaste, and any other personal care items would be very appreciated. All sizes are needed. Please contact the church office for more information.

Our church is currently without a pastor, so if you need guidance or would just like to talk with someone, please call the church office at 740-676-3663, and someone will contact you.
