Community Events

Grief Share meetings are held each MONDAY at 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Bellaire First Methodist Church. (The group will not meet on Labor Day, September 2nd.) If you are interested in being a part of the Grief Share group, please contact Myra Thornton for more information. These meetings are OPEN TO ANYONE who is struggling with the loss of a loved one or know someone who is.

There will be a Bellaire CommUNITY Prayer Service sponsored by the Bellaire Clergy Association on TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 3rd at 7:00 p.m. at the Belmont Presbyterian Church, 52835 Key-Bellaire Rd. Bellaire OH. Everyone is invited to bring your prayer requests and join us as we pray for our community.

The Bellaire First Methodist Church will be hosting Chick Church on FRIDAY, DECEMBER 6th. For more information on this or any other local Chick Church gatherings, please contact Holly Poe.

Pastor Phil's current Bible study, "The Heroes Of The Bible", is being held each WEDNESDAY at 6:30 p.m. You can attend in person at the church or online in our Bible Study group. If you are not part of the group but would like to be, let us know. For more information, please contact Pastor Phil.

Chancel choir practices are held at 9:45 a.m. every SUNDAY morning before worship. All are welcome to join. For more information, please contact Steve Shallcross or Mary Catherine Allodi.

 

​If anyone is interested and available to help with Monday Meals served by the Living Bread Kitchen and Food Pantry each MONDAY around 4:30 p.m., please contact Nancy Hughes or the church office. All volunteers are welcome. In addition, we are always in need of volunteers to help with transporting the food bank deliveries to the church every TUESDAY morning at 8:00 a.m. If you are able to help carry or have a truck that could be used to move the food, your assistance would be very appreciated. If you are able to help, please contact Jim Brehm or arrive at the church by 8:00 a.m.

**Please note: no food will be distributed on Tuesday mornings.**

​​As we approach fall, we are continuing to collect new or gently used hats, scarves, and gloves to distribute to those who are in need during colder weather. Please drop off any donations at the church or contact Debbie Weeks or the church office for more information.

 

We are always in need of toiletry items for those we are serving in the community. Items such as shampoo, conditioner, soap, shaving cream, razors, deodorant, toothbrushes, toothpaste, and any other personal care items would be very appreciated. All sizes are needed. Please contact the church office for more information.
